Swiss Medica began in 2011 in Switzerland and moved its main therapeutic clinic to Belgrade in 2016. A hospital completed in Belgrade in 2024 is now the company headquarters, and a second clinic operates in Rogaška Slatina in Slovenia. What the company keeps in Switzerland is a business office, not a place of treatment.
The primary approach is to make the patient's own cells treat their own body: dormant adipose mesenchymal stem cells are activated to differentiate into the cells needed, and then replace damaged cells. The clinic publishes case studies and statistical reports on its results.
For chronic conditions where conventional treatment has run its course and the patient is willing to travel outside Switzerland for cell therapy.
